Yeah, our name is kinda strange at first glance. In actuality, it’s two names: the surnames of Chuck Penna and Dennis Powers, two of our founding partners. Over the years, our name would change with each new invested partner. But frequently updating a company name is confusing at best and bad for business at worst.

Powers
Penna
So, we eventually decided to just stick with those first two alliterative aliases, which is what most people would shorten our name to, anyway. From here on out, you can expect the same level of great work we’ve always provided with no new name changes. We hope you agree that’s best for everyone.
We Got Staying Power
Our agency has been going strong since 1984. From the beginning, our founders jumped into the fray determined to bring big-city thinking to the Salt Lake ad scene. And that was the start of what we call “staying power.” A lot has happened over the last few decades, but we attribute our 40 years of staying power to our results, our people, and our clients.

Culture
We Are Only as Good as Our People
Yes, the work we proudly deliver is always about getting results for our clients, but none of it would be possible without the prowess of our people. Some of our crew have been with us for 10, 20, 30 years. We have a unique culture that makes our agency a place worth sticking around — and often brings back those who’ve left (sometimes more than once).

We Are Problem-Solvers
We believe great brands are built on two-way conversations. For over 40 years, this collaborative approach has been vital to success in everything we do, be it advertising, public relations, digital marketing, content creation, media buying and planning, social media or public involvement. Exemplary communication guides all interactions with our clients, our audiences and our team. The one thing we’ve reinforced over and over again through the years is building successful client relationships with effective results.
